Do we need to pay for Katalon products in the future?

No. All of Katalon’s tools are free of charge unless you wish to upgrade to the Business or Enterprise version for larger and more complex projects.

Are there any limitations in Katalon’s free tools?

It depends on the size and needs of your team or business. With 3 members or less, the Katalon Free plan is sufficient to supply your testing activities. However, if your team is growing in terms of people and number of test cases, then Katalon Enterprise unlocks essential features such as artifact sharing, parallel testing, or Data-Driven Testing (DDT) with SQL Server.

How do I know which Katalon license to start with?

Can I migrate my current testing projects to Katalon?

For sure. Katalon currently supports web, mobile, API, and desktop (Windows) automated testing, so you can import legacy scripts (written in Java or Groovy) from Appium, Selenium, and Selenium IDE.
